The passing of Ed Shook of Price, Utah, born in Riverside, California leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 12, 2024 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Bassett-Shook and Raymond Kennedy Shook; his son Raymond Shook; his siblings-in-law, Sharon Witte, Barbara Hamm, Danny and Johnny Hamm; and his friend Judy Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Hamm; his children, Eddie Shook of Prescott Valley, AZ, Shelley Bogdin (Ronnie) of Price, UT, Dani Seals (Keny) of Price, UT and Christina Hislop (James) of Price, UT; his grandchildren, Cassandra Sandgren (Jesse), Delia Shook, Brielle McCourt (Jaren), Brenna Sanchez (Adrian), Isaiah Kobe, Faith Kobe, Joel Birch and Theo Seals; his great grandchild Rooke McCourt; his siblings-in-law, Linda Brown (Lon), Marilyn Cramer, Anita Rivas and Jim Witte; his friend Ray Russell; and also Ed. He is also survived by brothers and sisters along with many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank all the close friends and neighbors that helped Ed during his later battle with Alzheimer's.
