He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair H. Behling and Madge Behling; his brother Scott; his parents-in-law, Alden Swasey and Afton Haws Swasey; and his close friend Dee Fillmore.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Christopher Behling (Jodi), Connie Behling Otterstrom, Jeremy Behling, Jonathan Behling, Michael Behling (Sheena) and Matthew Behling (Tasha); and his sisters, JoLynn Steele, Vynette Willbur (Kevin) and Gina Jones (Kent). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
