She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred S Peterson and Sophie Peterson (Shallman); her siblings, Lyle Blunt, Lloyd Blunt, Edward Peterson, Ardis Peterson and Carol Yelverton; and her great grandchild Braydon Hutchison.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Nelson; her children, Jim Nelson Jr. (Elizabeth), Shirley Troyer (Duane), Eric Nelson (Trish), Shauna Peterson (Dave) and Earl Arnett (Deb); and her brother Alfred R Peterson. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
