She was predeceased by: her grandmother Rose Helen Skinner; her brother Terry Wilson Carter; and her stepson Nicholas James Alvarado. She is survived by: her daughter Balinda Eileen (Thomas); her husband William Alvarado; her parents, Ron Ellis and Jane Ellis; and her daughters, April Jenkins and Tawnya Hovey. She is also survived by her brothers, sisters and their spouses, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
