He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Joseph and Christena Martena Christensen Grames; his stepfather Leonard Crisswell Gorley; and his sisters, Marie Lutz, Lillian Urbanik, Beula Heath and Beatrice Dockery.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lucille Duvall Grames; his daughter Karen Grames Colemere; and his brothers, Thomas Allan Grames (Sandy) of Evansville, IN, Floyd L Gorley (Louise) and East. He is also survived by four grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
