He was predeceased by: his parents, William Reed and Della Louise Brown Brasher; his son Kurt Brasher; his grandson Jarom Powell; his sister Beverly Nielson; and his brothers-in-law, Dee Nielson and Courtney Guymon.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Brasher; his children, Myrna (Corey Powell), Suzanne Brasher-Anderson (late Kurt), Joye Wilcox (Cory) and Reed Brasher; and his sisters, Lorie McElprang (Lee) and Vee Guymon. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
