He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Burton Bunnell and Annie Louise Kofford; his wife Dorothy; his grandson Matthew Sortor; his son-in-law Steve Sortor; and his children, Diane L. Sortor (Steve), Mark D. Bunnell (Melinda), Craig M. Bunnell (Kay) and Karen L. Petersen. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
