She was predeceased by: her husband James O Peterson Jr.; her parents, Florencio Sanchez and Rebecca Sanchez; her brother Raymond Sanchez; and her daughter-in-law Chanta Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Fitzgerald Petersen (Francie), Price, Stacy Ray Peterson, James O Peterson III, Sandy of Utah and Natalie Peterson Cedeno of San Francisco, CA; her siblings, Becky Vandongen (Rean) and Florentino Sanchez; her grandchildren, Erin, Aremu, Michael Justice, Christopher, Dominique, Brittney, Savannah and Elishah; and her great grandchildren, Yahya, Kamalu, Abiona and Yewende.
