He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Nicholes and Vivian Nicholes; his siblings, Colleen Cannon and Vern Nicholes; his stepson Michael Batchelor; and his grandson Tyson Walsh.
He is survived by: his former wife Peggy Long; his daughters, Lesa and Lesley; his wife Gloria; his niece Judy Powell (American Fork); and his brother Perry Nicholes (Idaho). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren.
