It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Sawaya of Pleasant Grove, Utah, born in Provo, Utah, who passed away on May 20, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Monk and Phyllis Ford Monk; her former husband Lary James Kirk; and her daughters, Angela Kirk and Colleen Kennedy.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Kirk (Nancy), Kimberly Brown (Scott) and Karie Wiley (Lance); her grandchildren, Cassidy Kennedy, Jade Kennedy, Taylor Thorpe (Jake), Jaxon Kirk, Lexi Kirk, Connor Brown (Chelsea), Jake Brown (Janna), Kirk Brown (Abby) and Josie Brown; her great grandchildren, Hudson Thorpe, Indie De Vall, Calvin and Jude Brown; her husband Bill Sawaya; and her stepchildren, Bill, Kali Sawaya, Ben, Sara Sawaya, Becky, Brian Shumway, Sydney, Isaac, Sam, Anna, Jacob, Matthew, Faith, Elizabeth, Brian Crow, Catherine Sawaya, Steve, Laura Sawaya, Emily, Scott Humes, Amy and Spencer Hunter (William).
