Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Urrutia and Mildred Urrutia; his son Michael Urrutia; his brother Dan Urrutia; his sister-in-law Maxine Urrutia; and his grandson Benjamin Peck.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Stevens; and his siblings, Marie Hodge (Mike) and Phillip Urrutia. He is also survived by 6 children, 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Olpin Family Mortuary (494 S 300 E St, Pleasant Grove, UT 84062). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery (550 N 100 W, Pleasant Grove, UT 84062).
