He was predeceased by: his wife Alta Lucile Hall; his parents, Phillip Ray Ewell and Louise Rieske Ewell; and his siblings, Colleen Gardiner and Gary Ewell.
He is survived by: his children, Merilee Chapman (Don), Jeff Ewell (Gayle), Lisa Guth (Merl), Thayne Ewell (Kelley), Chad Ewell (Lucinda) and Aaron Ewell (Anisa). He is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 120 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
