He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Bird and Marian Charlotte Greening Newman; and his brother Harold K Newman. He is survived by: his wife Karen Kaye Harris; his children, Brenda Hatfield (Kyle), Annette Johnson (Kevin), Jennifer Bailey (Tim), Marci Kramer (Shane) and Russell Newman (Kat); and his siblings, Rick Newman, Charlotte Gilbert and Sharron Newman. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
