She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Peters and Verle Peters; her husband Berwyn; and her sons, Michael and Stanley.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Hopkin (Lynne), Cathy McVey (Gordon) and Bernie Hopkin (LaVella). She is also survived by grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
