He is survived by: his children, Eric Cook, Colby Cook, Shanae Cook, Rana Shaw, Josh Cook, Jana Lee Spencer, Douglas Peterson, Rebecca Cook, Deborah Hansen and Brian Morgan; his siblings, Diana Barnett, Annelle Hager, Scott Barrett and Maria Frazier; and his pet Annie. He is also survived by his 11 children, 44 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.

“Janet and family, we loved doug very much, and are glad we were made aware of his funeral so we could attend. He was our home teacher for all the years our children were growing up in pleasant grove; he was a near neighbor and we did things often together. He was a wonderful man, a great scouter, the best camper and cook! For our ward dinners. His passing leaves a hole in our lives and memories. Love to you all, larry and pat goff, joe, dan, davy and matt”
