She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, LaDrue "Hap" Varney and Elva Smith Varney; her husband Robert Mitchell Hicks of Pleasant Grove; her children, Beverly Sorensen, Cecelia Bytheway (Thomas), Heather Gurule (Ruben), Holly Dougherty (Stephen), Riley Hicks (Tammie), Heidi Franco (Leno) and Jennifer Araya (Marco); and her brother David Varney (Earlene).
