She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Raymond Ronald Smalley (Mary), Deborah Joy Pimentel and Richard Lyle Hales (Corazon); her sister Kathleen Ardelle Wood; her husband Raymond Smalley; her granddaughter Sarah Joy Streicher; her brother Charles Joseph "Bud" Borden Jr.; and her parents, Charles Joseph Borden Sr. and Reeva Joy Lundvall. She was also cherished by eight step-children, 39 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
