She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Wesley Johnson and Valera Johnson; and her siblings, Richard Johnson, Jean Christensen and Betty Shelley.
She is survived by: her husband Clyde Gay; her children, Wayne Gates (Judy), Wesley Johnson and Lisa Orr (Terrance); and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Gates (Laura), Jaren Gates (Chauntelle), Jason Gates (Kiley), Jennessa Maughan (Pace), Taryn Nielson (Jason), Maegan Alder (Jarom) and Shaylee Scott (Corbin). She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
