She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley LeRoy and Virginia Gibson Thomas; her husband JD; her sons, Jay and Allan; and her great grandchild Kelton Roundy.
She is survived by: her siblings, Leola and Harley; her former husband Junior Dell Carter; and her sisters-in-law, Doris Carter (Glade) and Maxine Carter (Dean). She is also survived by her four children, and then came all the grandkids, great grandkids, and a great great grandson.
