It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Lavona Peterson Thatcher (Payson, Utah), born in Dalton, Nebraska, who passed away on September 5, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Peterson and Pearl Peterson; her husband Glen Thatcher; her children, Rhonda DeGroot Proctor and David DeGroot; her stepdaughter Terry Lynn Warner; and her brothers, Everett and Vernon.
She is survived by: her former husband John DeGroot; her children-in-law, Gary Proctor and Cathy DeGroot; her stepchildren, Coyann Kilmer (Robert), Gary Thatcher (Cindy), Kevin Thatcher (Kim) and Gordon Thatcher (Lisa); and her son-in-law Kim Warner. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
