He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard John Delp of Kansas and Florence Delp of California; his former wife Naomi Delp; his daughters, Cheraye South, Jeannie Searle and Bridget Ormson; and his grandchildren, Kaija Searle, Gavin Searle, Nyah Ormson and Kohen Ormson. He was also cherished by 3 great grandchildren.
