She was predeceased by: her parents, John Marlyn Francom and Wanda Mary Johnson; her brothers, Sterling and William; her daughter-in-law Kristen Peterson Nelson; and her great grandchild Emeline.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Nelson (Cindy), Kellie Harding (Dale), Jay Nelson, Denise Irwin (Scot), Layne Nelson (Debbie), Susie Layton (Cliff) and Amy Gardner (Ryan).
