He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale C. Whitlock and Bessie Bell Whitlock; and his brothers, Stephen and Lind. He is survived by: his children, Jeff, Lisa, Chad and Chelsea; his wife Pat; and his siblings, Todd (Lisa) and Janet (Tim). He is also survived by his four children, three step-children, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
