He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Clifford Smith and Olive Ethel Taft; his great-great-grandparents, Seth Taft and Amasa Lyman; his great-grandparent William W. Smith; his siblings, Afton Smith (Jean), Geneve (Charles Cornell), Lasca Keele (Frank), Nadine Smith, Audra Hendrickson (Jack) and Anna Lou Hutchings (Carlos); his wife Bonnie; his children, Julie Hale, Carol Peterson (Richard), Merianne Horton (Rick), Linda Tantillo (Allan) and Garrett Smith (Carol); and his siblings, Jaye Smith (Marguerite) and Diane Cales (Gene). He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
