She was predeceased by: her parents, Blaine Lewis Whimpey and Lorena Whimpey; her stepfather Maynard Willis; her in-laws, Douglas and Theo Lamb; her grandparents, Bert and Grace Smith; her siblings, Jim, Carma, Nancy and Elaine; and her great grandchild Dylan Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas Lamb; her children, Mark Lamb (Texas), Bonnie Lamb (Payson), Wade (Becky), Gwen (Scott), Spencer (Payson) and Jim (Becky); her siblings, Vickie (Mike) Hillstead (California) and John Willis (Colorado); and her brothers-in-law, Lee Lamb (Payson) and Don Uder (Illinois). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and 40 great-grandchildren.
Irene's spirit of service also included exceptional contributions to Mountain View Hospital as a volunteer Pink Lady for over 40 years while also serving a term as the president of the UAHAV.
