He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Sperry and Verda Roylance; his wife Gerri Sperry; and his siblings, Gayle Fonville and Randy Sperry.

He is survived by: his children, Robert Sperry (Dawna), Tish Swafford (Mike), Matthew Sperry and Brett Sperry (Jennifer Anderson); and his siblings, Dennis Sperry (Mari), Mike Sperry and Helen Lee (Chuck). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and another great grandchild.
