He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Fowkes Parkin and Ellen Valleria Parkin; his stepmother Vida Parkin; his daughter Tammy Cowburn; and his pets, Smokey and Baron.
He is survived by: his son Kenneth; his wife Maria Hoch; his children, Celia and Kenny; his siblings, Fred (Marsha Parkin), Ellen (Darryl Larsen), Angie (David Rasmussen), Jan Grimshaw, Judy (Lynn) and Doug (Christie); his grandchildren, Nik Cantonwine, Cody Cowburn, Carly Cantonwine, Howie Cantonwine, Kenyon Parkin, Jessica Cowburn, Izzy Cantonwine, Rhylie Parkin, Edona Donaldson and Alana Donaldson; and his great grandchildren, Lorelay, Raaven and Taysen.
