He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gates Jones and Gwen Reid; his stepfather Gordon Hartley; his brothers, Alan Jones and Ronald Jones; and his brother-in-law Chance.

He is survived by: his significant other Tracey Jones; his children, Blake Jones (Shannon) of Santaquin, Jennifer Chrzanowski (Doug) of Payson and Gates Klingenhofer (Erik) of Price; his grandchildren, Jaden Jones and Tyler Jones; his children, Braylin Jones, Austin Chrzanowski, Colton Chrzanowski and Wesley Klingenhofer; and his siblings, Roger Jones (Diane), Benjamin, Mark Jones, Karen Kovatch (Marvin) and Kent Jones.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the family of Sgt. Bill Hooser of the Santaquin Police Department.
