He is survived by: his wife Linda Jean Patten; his children, Gary Muhlestein (Linnea), Douglas Muhlestein of Orem, Utah, Karen R. Call (Tracey) of Salem, Utah, Kent Muhlestein (Dawn) of Layton, Utah and Kevin Muhlestein of Payson, Utah; and his brothers, John (Patricia) of El Sobrante and Michael (JoAnn). He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
