He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Amelia Clark Mitchell and James Mitchell; his siblings, Doris Dibble (Blaine) and Earl Walker (Colleen); his grandchildren, Clay Mitchell and Shanna Mitchell; his brother-in-law Alton Nielson; and his nephew Casey Nielson.
He is survived by: his wife Donna May Jasperson; his sons, Gary and Jeff Mitchell (Kris); his grandchildren, Laci Koyle (Kacey) and Dallin Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Ryker and Brylie; and his sister Lois Nielson (Alton).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Walker Funeral Home (587 S 100 W, Payson, UT 84651). The military honors was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Payson City Cemetery (800 E 400 N, Payson, UT 84651).
