Bette Jo Oberg Obituary
Bette Jo Oberg, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Bette Jo was born and lived most of her life in the small town of Payson, Utah. She loved living in Payson and developed many friendships along the way.
Bette Jo was an extremely hard worker and worked for over 30 years at Rayloc, where she was one of the first and few women to work on the assembly line. She loved her co-workers and always spoke of them fondly. Bette Jo was a voracious reader, and there was never a book far from her side. Her books took her to places far beyond the borders of her small town, and she loved telling you about what she was currently reading.
She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her open mind, and her love of family. Bette Jo was always generous, often beyond her means, and she opened her heart and her home to anyone who needed a mom. She taught her children and grandchildren how to be strong when times are tough, the value of hard work and the importance of generosity.
