He was predeceased by: his brother Nathan; and his grandparents, Louis, Louise Roberts, Vern, Georgia Petersen and Beulah Petersen.
He is survived by: his parents, Brent Petersen and Ruth Petersen; his wife Jyna Darcey; his stepchildren, Tyson, Dylan, Lydia and Tyana; and his siblings, Lori Ward (Reed), Todd (Fumiko), Brian (Lani), Sherilan Shurtleff (Brian) and Ben (Lindsey).
