He was predeceased by: his mothers, Alma Lee and Grace Elizabeth Keyes (Williams); his former wife Faye McNeil; and his siblings, Clarence, Fawn, Mamie and LuAnn.

He is survived by: his wife Clifta Gail Corless; his children, Susan Cann (Beale), Julie Keyes, Johnny Keyes (Emilee), Steven Keyes (Cindy) and Roger Hall (Debbie); and his siblings, LaMar Keyes (Janet) and Delores Ovard (Harold). He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandsons.
