He was predeceased by: his parents, Orland "Whitey" Porter and Maralda Chesnut Porter; his wife Gloria Ricketts of Antimony; his son Scott Allen; his parents-in-law, E. "Lyle" and Nelda Day Ricketts; his siblings, William "Bill" Rebecca, Renee Owens (Boyd) and Darlene Griffin (Donald); and his brother-in-law Glade Reynolds.
He is survived by: his children, Natalie Jo Outzen (Jeff) and Lennie Don Porter (Gwen). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Escalante 2nd Ward Chapel (80 S Center St, Escalante, UT 84726). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
