He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Asay Tebbs and Nedra Henrie Tebbs; his granddaughter Camille Nelson; his sisters, Janice Gottfredson and Lucinda Ruth Judd; and his brother-in-law Glen Hale.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Houston Tebbs; his children, Daniel Craig Tebbs (Lisa), Susan Hadley (Brian), Tracee Tebbs, Kathleen Mecham Johnson (Randy), Jennifer Moos (Nate) and Douglas Joseph Tebbs (Mary); his siblings, Veda Hale, Louis Tebbs (Lolly) and Joyce Miller (Kent); and his brothers-in-law, Michael Gottfredson and Robert Judd. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
