He is survived by: his parents, George Wenzel Buchanan and Edna Wuenschel; his spouse Carolynn Fagg; and his siblings, William Buchanan, Juanita Edvalson and Douglas Buchanan (Sylvia). He is also survived by 45 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and as well as dozens of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
