With heavy hearts, we announce the death of VerDon Ballantyne (Orem, Utah), born in Coalville, Utah, who passed away on January 20, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willard Burton and Louise Wilde Ballantyne; his wife LaWana Patten; and his children, Bob (Becky), Todd (Marnae), Jon (Leslie), Paul (Brandi), Marci (Kevin Kuhn), Jamie (Kris Anderson), Mike (Kristie) and Kristi (Drew Anderson). He was also cherished by twenty-eight grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Primary Children's Hospital, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Humanitarian Fund, or a charity of your choice, in VerDon's name.
