He was predeceased by: his siblings, Timali Tivao, Roosevelt Poloai, Aretaseta Brooks, Uaealesi Tafa, Eseneiaso Lole, Lomia Tivao, Lavea (Tivao) and Faafouina Tivao; and his parents, Timali Poloai Tivao and Mesi Moegu.
He is survived by: his close friend Lapataume Neria Poloai; his children, Aretaseta Unga (Whitley), Leute Summers (David), Fiagatasi Emerson (Jared), Matatala Malupo (Bo) and Francine Palepoi (Sa); his grandchildren, Jazmine, Britney, Selina, Aisea, Kainalu, Ilaisaane, Anapau, Maiya, Lole, Mahonri, Whitley, Coretta, Heiress, Saitaua, Marley, Laila, Uimaitua and Leilini; his great grandchildren, Swede and Sofia; his siblings, Fa'atasiga, Francis and Sulu; and his significant other Lapataume Neria. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
