He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sidney Sawyer and Ruth Bickham Sawyer; his children, Jeffrey Thomas, Scott Alan, Robert James and Julie Anne (Neil); his wife Joyce Mezzanatto; and his sister Betty Miller. He was also cherished by 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and many loving friends.
