He was predeceased by: his parents, George Atkin and Hazel Atkin (Boren); his wife Sylvia Atkin; his grandsons, Chandler Atkin and Trent Saez; and his brothers, Alan, Gene and Mike.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Saez, Brandi Christensen (Derek), Rickie Atkin (Tori) and Lisa Chipman (Richard Fillmore); and his sister Karen Carlile (Valden).
Viewing was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wheeler-Sundberg Funeral Home (495 S State St, Orem, UT 84058). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Orem Cemetery (1520 N 800 E, Orem, UT 84097).
