He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Deanne; his adoptive parents, George and Emily Long; his wife Kay Long; and his children, Doug Long (Sheri), Steve Long, Terri Shields (Tom), Mark Long, Sherri Anderson (Kevin) and Robert Long (Courtney). He was also cherished by 22 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
