He was predeceased by: his mother Glenda Carter. He is survived by: his father Blaine Carter; his siblings, Kyle, Elaine (Dan), Karl (Sunny), Rodney, Robert and Andy (Jill); and his nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Brad, Lindsay, Nichole, Jacob, Ben, Courtney, Amanda Moon, Jackson and Haylee. He is also survived by Great nieces & nephews, Cousins, aunts & uncles.

I guess all I can say is to take comfort with each other in the family. Be there for each other like Rich would have been there for you. He will not be forgotten. “I cannot imagine how hard this must be for all of you. Him being removed from your family just came out of nowhere. I am one of Rich's friends, and I'm taking it really hard. It must be just devastating to you. Rich had a big heart, and he was generous when he could be. He'd give you his shirt if you needed it. I guess that means he was willing to help all the time. He was fun to visit with - I'll miss that. He was planning for his future by the remodeling he undertook at his home. Love!”
