He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Richins and Lexie Vilda Colledge Richins; his brother Brent; his granddaughter Heather; his parents-in-law, Mary and Joseph Swenson; and his pet Buffy.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Swenson; his daughters, Glenda Probst (Hal), Debra Sanderson (Stephen), Pamela Cates and Kaylene Mann (David); and his siblings, Gary Richins (Loretta), Kay Richins, Nyle Richins, Hal Richins and Jane Farnsworth (Monte). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
