He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Horace Horne and Charlotte Gates Horne; his wife Georgia LaRae Payne; his children, Conda Rae Todd (Mike), Rulon Horne (Nancy), Daryl Horne (Elaine), Helen Murray (Mark), Sharon Hales (Lynn), Janna Sorensen (Randy) and Ralph Vernon Horne (Jana); his sisters, Elaine Allred and Evelyn Braithwaite; and his grandson Cameron Quin Horne. He was also cherished by 26 grandchildren, 69 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

“My mother, Bonnie Scadlock, who lived at Treeo as well, considered Ralph a dear friend and pal! Their birthdays were only 3 days apart and they teased that they were birthday "almost" twins! As I would visit my mother each month from Arizona I also came to love and adore your dad!!
