He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph LeRoy Gillespie and Geneva Merle Carlson; his daughter Ann M Gillespie Veltman; and his brother Carl Heber Gillespie. He is survived by: his wife Ople Chatwin; and his children, Terri Hardman (Bart), Paul Gillespie (Tina) and Dawn Luker. He is also survived by four children, 20 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren and 26 great great grandchildren.
