She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Drusilla Ryan Patterson and William Beresford Patterson; her stepson Kenneth Carl Nix; her brother Dennis Ivan Patterson; her children, David Edward Engebretsen of Coco Beach, Florida, Ursula Helene Roll (Steven) of Lehi, Utah, Zina Engebretsen of Pasadena, California, Mark Erik Engebretsen (Liliane) of Lynchburg, Virginia and Kjell Paul Engebretsen (Rebecca) of Spring City, Utah; her stepchildren, Bryan Jesse Nix (Faye) of Woodbridge, Virginia and Suzanne Nix; and her stepdaughter-in-law Myrna Nix of Lehi, Utah. She was also cherished by grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and honorary grandchildren.
