He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Dorn and Mildred Van Dorn of Orem, Utah.; his significant other Aleene Wasden; his children, Jenn Stevenson (Dave), Matt Van Dorn (Sheri), Justin Van Dorn (Kerrah), Liz Dean (Dan) and Ali Thackeray (Mark); his siblings, Jolene LeeMaster (Boyd) and John Van Dorn (Connie); his nieces and nephews, Annette Wasden, Jennifer Rosqvist (Lon), Russell Wasden, Julie Ruger (Jason), Becky Wasden, Spender Wasden and Ruthann Nielson (Bradley); and his granddaughter Naomi Dean. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren.
