He is survived by: his children, Steven McCandless, Marilyn Ripple (Todd), Tami Hampton (Rex) and Clint McCandless; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Kopp and Ray Thomas. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
