He was predeceased by: his parents, George D. Wilson and Elva Thomas; and his siblings, Dean Wilson, Verl Wilson, Robert Wilson, James Wilson and Lois Wilson.

He is survived by: his spouse Claudia Johnson; his grandchildren, George Sonny Wilson and Amanda Lynn Mylroie; his children, James Robert Wilson, Christine Wilson, Mary Claudine Wilson (Todd), Lynda Carcano (Severo) and Lloyd Sonny Wilson (Ashley); his grandchildren, Tyler, Dustin, Austin Preston, Oaklie, Gates, Elizabeth, Lacie and David; and his great grandchildren, Marley, Brighton and Jack.
