Leah Whiting Skinner Obituary
We bid farewell to Leah Whiting Skinner (Orem, Utah), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 29, 2024 at the age of 88. Leah Whiting touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Whiting and Maud Bentley Whiting (Murray W. Skinner); and her siblings, LaVina (Lamar Averett), Creta (Donald Danner), Gay (Newell Law) and Victor Whiting.
She is survived by: her daughter Terri Lyn (Albert Nystrom); her granddaughters, Natalie (Charles Furse) and Shauntae (Devin Anderson); and her half-sisters, Floy Harmer, Beth Baker, Jane Olsen and Eliza Jean Wilson. She is also survived by great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeview 3rd Ward LDS Chapel (450 W 1800 S St, Orem, UT 84058).
